#LadyMaker: Lindsay Balfour
What is the story that emerges when you learn storyboarding with circuitry? Paper Circuits is a low-tech way of prototyping with electronic components onto paper-based materials so you can hack your notebook, a greeting card, or even make sketches come to life! Mother-daughter pairs will explore making with touch sensors and combine them with effects such as fade, blink, and more to tell a story through paper circuits. Build a basic pop-up design and combine conductive materials such as copper tape, a 3V coin battery, and LEDs with switches to make an interactive story!
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22nd, you may register online at https://makeher-may06.eventbrite.com.
Make-HER workshops are open to girls aged 8 – 12 and their mothers (or other adult female mentors). Our talented #LadyMaker educators have designed content specifically for this age group. Therefore the workshops are not appropriate for those under age eight, including younger siblings. You may cancel up to 48 hours in advance, but those who do not show without cancellation will be prevented from registering for subsequent Make-HER workshops. Each workshop requires a separate registration. Each registration reserves spots for both you and your daughter.
